On 12 May 2024, ten of our R&H colleagues took part in an adrenaline-fuelled 27 metre abseil down Val de la Mare dam in St Ouen to raise funds for Dementia Jersey.
Our brave team included Nick Gallery, Sarah Bell, Sally Morris, Callum Foster, Linda Dukes, Tom Peat, Jessica Goncalves, Ruben Pinheiro, Francis Raffay and Caroline McManus took part in this epic challenge as part of our community fundraising scheme for 2024.
Each year colleagues choose four local charities, non-profits or youth initiatives on the island to support through various fundraising activities, with every pound raised matched by R&H Jersey.
Giving back to our local community is an important part of our business and we’re proud to have a team who share this mission.
Dementia Jersey is the only local charity for people with dementia and those who care for them. They provide expert support on dementia, raise awareness and campaign to improve services.
